OPERATION PARENT STORM
NEWSLETTER

The Mission:

INFORMATION: To help veterans and their families and to let them know that many others are also suffering. You are not being told the truth by the Department of Defense, the V.A., the Pentagon, and those in leadership roles at the time of the Persian Gulf War.

EDUCATION: To help veterans and their families cope. Where to get medical attention. Who will believe you?

SUPPORT: Moral and emotional sharing and caring. Strong shoulders to lean on and give love to one another. Only when a "family" works as a unit and joins together as one, will we be able to help each other.

ATTENTION: PARENTS OF GULF WAR VETERANS!!

The time has come for us to unite. Let us join hands and hearts in an effort to combat what has been done and what is not being done for and to our most precious possession, our children.

I come to you as a victim. I also come as a friend. What I want most is for us to stand up and "be counted." Alone we can do nothing, together we can accomplish wonderful things.

Since serving their country to the very best of their abilities, our kids have become ill. Many of them are so sick and they are dying. Too many of them, like our only son, are already dead. We are frustrated because we don’t know why, for what reason and just who will be brave enough to come forward and tell us the truth? We are hurt and angry. We need not be alone. Now other members of our family have some of the same symptoms. I absolutely cannot shut my mouth, close my eyes and know that what happened to us, might happen to another family.

Our son would have wanted us to help others, which is what I am trying to do. Only by helping others will his death have purpose for me. (His father died of a heart attack on the 5th anniversary of his only son’s death.)

Please let us save lives, not waste them!

Life in this world is saturated with pain and ache not yet finished, not yet answered, not yet resolved. What shall we do with so much pain that is left unfinished? When the need, the hurt, the demand, and the facts are fully voiced, something unexpected happens. Let’s move to a positive resolution!

This news letter is not for everyone. It is for those who cry and for those who cry with those who cry. It is for those who struggle with the dailiness of faithkeeping in the midst of life’s assaults and obsenities. It is for those whose scalding tears run down their cheeks. We must cry out the pain that lives in our souls!

FACTS: For over right years the Pentagon has continued to change their story about the Gulf War Illness. They have spent hundreds of millions of dollars of the taxpayer’s money on government sponsored and "independent studies" while tens of thousands of veterans and their families die and spread a communicable disease into the general population. Is this "Zero Population Growth" or "negative Population Growth"?

A scientific survey underwritten by the Pentagon has concluded that an experimental drug given to U.S. troops during the Persian Gulf War to protect against a nerve gas may have been responsible for the chronic illnesses afflicting tens of thousands of veterans. The report is the first commissioned by the Pentagon to identify a possible cause. It sharply contradicts two earlier government studies by a Presidential Commission by the Institute of Medicine that ruled out the drug Pyridostigmine Bromide, (PB) as a cause.

More than 300,000 veterans have reported symptoms attributed to Gulf War Illness, (chronic fatigue, muscle pain, memory loss, rashes, sleep disorders, severe neurological disorders). Because of the Pentagon’s admittedly shoddy record keeping during the war, one has to ask, who took what drug? Where were the troops located at any given time? These are just some of the questions almost impossible to verify. Researchers are claiming the potential numbers of ill veterans could climb to 500,000. Gulf War Illness is an epidemic!

If anyone learns any information that may be useful to one or all of us, please send it to us. We will see that it is printed in this newsletter. If you would help one person and I can help one person, what possibilities there are for all of us!

PARENTS: Write me you experiences. We need to compare notes. This will be a place to vent our frustrations and anger. We’re a family…you won’t be judged! It is time to let all of America know that we do not intend to wait 25 year for the truth to come out. By that time all the "crooks" are dead and it’s difficult to try someone for a war crime when they’re 6 feet under…and much more.

Please feel free to copy and repost to anyone interested in the truth.

Justice at last!
