Just curious, what is the level of "annoyance" one member has to achieve that has to be tolerated by other member's before that member right to use the board is discontinued? Just curious. GOD bless

Answer: When members begin to complain to the Admin and Webmasters.
Usually, it takes some pretty aggressive offenses to get banned (name-calling, cursing, spamming, etc.) We've been generous in handing out second chances to previously banned members because we implemented rules and policies that weren't always in place along the way.
We also take into consideration that some of our members are on meds (or should be), and say things they later regret. Sometimes the rest of the members are able to apply peer-pressure and act as a group, letting the offender know when to cut the crappola. Still other times, a strong signal is passed by ignoring someone who annoys us.
I believe this new board works like the old one, where the author of a post can edit/delete anyone else's post within the thread they started. So, if anyone posts a reply to a post you started which you object to, you can edit or delete their reply in your thread. (Someone needs to let me know if that still works.)
When all else fails, it's time to let the Admin/Webmasters know your complaint(s) so that we can take action.
P.S. We're always open to suggestions!

I hate to see my friends upset too! In my personal opinion the democractic way to process any annoyance by any party is to voice an opinion on feelings and course of action. To have that, people have to feel comfortable expressing their views without fear that they will be punished for doing so. Basic trust is needed to form and continue any relationship. It was the trust of the people of these United States in the idea of a better form of government free from oppression that formed our government and it is the continued trust that sustains it.
