I saw this posted on another veteran website. Normally, I wouldn't post this kind of trash on the BB, but since this guy made money off a movie about GW veterans, I felt everyone should see and read what he apparently really feels about us. --Gale

What a JERK! While my role was more support than active combat, I also know a LOT of people who really busted their butts to get the job done both during the war and cleaning up after it!! Some people will just never understand and don't seem to care to. Just my two cents!

Yeah, well I didn't see him cutting through the berm into the Iraqi 48thID with the Big Red One the morning of the ground offensive then tear into a couple of Republican Guard Divisions during the Storm nor did I see him fighting in Afghanistan or Iraq during this current conflict either. So its kinda hard for me to think he knows what he is talking about.
The movie Jarhead was another disgraceful war movie portraying Gulfvets as a bunch of screw-ups that never really saw any combat, so I can easily see why thats his opinion of us or the war. Maybe someday they will honor us in Hollywood instead of shed a poor light on us and our service.
Jake, there is still fighting and your peers are in foriegn lands fighting for democracy and freedom. So put your money where your mouth is and go enlist, then you may earn the right to talk of what a veteran did or did'nt do!!!!!!!!!!!! Keith

LIberal hollywood types don't know jack. oops!! BAd pun.
They got lot's of money , but many have never been near a weapon.
Most of the ones i know Are closet queens that frequent bathhouses in Hollywood and Los angeles and party in PAlm Springs at Gay hotels. Or come to skid row to pick up men ho's .
