I just heard on the radio that Jim Nicholson has decided to step down at the Secretary of Veterans' Affairs. He stated that he was going to pursue opportunities in the private sector. I am anxious to see who will take his place and what kinds of scandals/snafu's we have to look forward to. Anyway, just thought that I would relay the information and see what the members thought. Have a great day.

With the current war and the many injured veterans now coming into the VA they need someone with a powerful voice for alot more money to care for them properly as they have earned that right. No more nonsense. I have a couple of guys just out of high school doing some summer projects and both are going into the military. They are willing to sacrifice a part or all of their life for their country. Its not to much to ask they be cared for after they have served. Whats happening to this country??? Keith Keith

Well, It appears that John McCain isn't going to be going much further in the Presidential Race...although he will stick it out long enough to get the MONEY...so maybe he could step up to the plate for Veterans.

Repubs push for the Military but dislike Veterans
Dems push for Veterans and less military...
Here is where I'm in the middle because we need push for both...
