Your claim for service connected headaches has been received and all evidence is of record. The rating board is looking at your claim to make a decision. Michael, call or visit your local va hospital and ask to talk to the patient advocate. Once you get with the advocate, let them know that you would like to have a gulf war registry exam. They will connect you with the proper folks at the hospital for the exam.
It used to be done through the environmental agents folks, but its been 15 years since I was put on the registry, so it may have changed. Either way, the patient advocate can steer you in the right direction.

Back when I went through it they asked what types of issues I was dealing with since returning from the sandbox.........Muscle/joint pain, fatigue, memory problems, sleep disturbances, etc.
They also ran alot of blood tests and cognitive function tests on me.
Keep in mind, this was 15 years ago, so I'm really not up on what the exam consists of presently.
Best thing to do is sit down and jot down everything that you can think of prior to attending the exam and bring your notes with you so that you don't forget to mention anything.

As far as your claim for headaches goes, Im assuming that you already had the C&P exam for that, since the claim is at the rating board. If you havent had it yet, the va will schedule it for you and notify you when and where you need to be for it.

Nope, nothing yet. IRIS and the 800 number said it is at the review phase. Still waiting. Hope you hear something for yours soon, it would make me feel better to know they are doing something for someone. Take care Delta.
