After 7 years the battle has finally been WON the Judge granted my Coronary Artery Disease and Hypertension Secondary to my SC PTSD all I know is they owe me a LOT of MONEY all of 2002 and then the rate for 2 100% disabilities whatever that comes to. It's a lot of back pay though

Yes, it'll be a life-changing experience $$-wise, that's for sure. At least I know it was for me.

Congrats,

Thank you everyone No the first check I got back in May 2006 was the life changing money but this check should be about the same size 100% for all of Dec 2002 - Dec 2003 then I should be SMC S for Jan 2003 - April 2009

100% PTSD 100% CAD and I think 30% Hypertension I think it should be paid to me at the SMC S rate I could be wrong

the lawyer said it should take them about a month to get my C File back from DC and then about 2 weeks for the RO to issue the payment we will see I had my BVA hearing on Feb 4 2009 so the award date of April 7 seems quick to me.

Most importantly this victory may very well set legal precedence for future cases brought forward by other vets with similar conditions. Well done by everyone involved.
