After 7 years the battle has finally been WON the Judge granted my Coronary Artery Disease and Hypertension Secondary to my SC PTSD all I know is they owe me a LOT of MONEY all of 2002 and then the rate for 2 100% disabilities whatever that comes to. It's a lot of back pay though

Congrats ... perhaps a relaxing vacation is in your future once the money starts coming in .... just make sure they calculate your back pay correctly ... once again congratulations

Thank you everyone No the first check I got back in May 2006 was the life changing money but this check should be about the same size 100% for all of Dec 2002 - Dec 2003 then I should be SMC S for Jan 2003 - April 2009
100% PTSD 100% CAD and I think 30% Hypertension I think it should be paid to me at the SMC S rate I could be wrong
the lawyer said it should take them about a month to get my C File back from DC and then about 2 weeks for the RO to issue the payment we will see I had my BVA hearing on Feb 4 2009 so the award date of April 7 seems quick to me.

Most importantly this victory may very well set legal precedence for future cases brought forward by other vets with similar conditions. Well done by everyone involved.
